Lisa Archer Silks was officially established in 2001, but the
concept has been in development since I was a teenager.
Fabrics, texture, and color have always fascinated me. This
passion continued as I grew older, and eventually I began
designing clothing for family and friends, as well as for
myself.

Wearable Art! Each piece I design is hand painted on
100% silk and/or silk rayon using a wide range of hues, and
surface design techniques which provides a luxurious array
of color combinations. The painted fabric is then sewn
together to make a beautiful piece of wearable art. When you
go out in one of my designs, it is especially for you, avoiding
the sterile non-inspired look of mass produced wearables.
